TAPNET operates as an approved peer assistance program by the Texas Department of Health & Human Services (HHSC).

TAPNET Services

 

  • Monitors participant's recovery
     

  • Assist participants by outlining facilities for evaluation and referrals.
     

  • Monitors participant's rehabilitation and re-entry to the workplace.

TAPNET Eligibility

​

  • Must be a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), or hold a Texas Certification Board (TCB) Certification

    • AADC, ACPS, ADC, CPS, CCJP, CCS or PRSS.​​
       

  • Students currently pursuing a career in chemical dependency counseling​.
